The Emergent Phenomenon of Control

Shane: I was trying to move my brain from things standing above, I was thinking of it in puppet wires terms. Each thing within the system has their own wire, like the diagram in the designing freedom book, everyone's pulling a string. And then there's also things maybe that aren't even animate that have their own strings to pull as well,. Like socially necessary labor time within capitalism, maybe? Although maybe that maybe that's not included in part of controller, and maybe that's more of like an emergent thing. It will be interesting to see how he represents emergent phenomena in his control approach given that they are not necessarily clearly entities.
