i think that the way identity is used to day is very helpful. It's just become the means by which we talk about something being a valued by the person and also a result of their social context. The bruw baker and cooper articles raise all the right questions about that dynamic. But theyre just saying, ther there's better terms for analyzing that reality. And identity just confuses things. H and i think that it does.
