The capacity for attachment is heavily dependent on the experiences in their early childhood and that the capacity is unlikely to change most after it's set. That is going to be the obstacle if it's done in a diluted or a somewhat unstable way. It's going to be a barrier that has to be undone in their adult life, which can be extremely challenging.
