What's Going to Happen to These Eight Thousand People?
It's very difficult to predict what will happen, because officially, almost eight thousand people have been arrested across the country. What happens to them will give us a bit of an indication of which direction the country is going in. But at the same time, president, tokef, has to calm the population. There is no way that we can expect the country to turn ito a democracy, certainly not in the western sense of the term. The implications for russia, i think, are very interesting.
