The Long Reflection
If we knew that the universe would only last for five more years, we might actually have a very different agenda. And similarly, we might go into thinking about how do we coordinate? Will MacAskel has pointed out the idea of the longer reflection. There is a temptation to think about ways that ensuring that stupid future generations don't do certain things. We might want to be very careful so we don't lock them away from good possibilities.
