Is It an Easy Win?
In one sense, this is an easy win for them, because they don't suffer any downsight from the united states. The united states is different than china. It does not come back and retaliate if you cross one of its so called red lines or a sensitive issue for the americans. You get to placate the chinese, make them happy on an issue that's important to them. So why not take te win?
