The US Fed Raised Interest Rates to 5.5%

The US Federal Reserve has raised interest rates by a quarter percentage point to 5.5%. The inflation rate in the US is 3%, which is relatively low, certainly when compared to here. Here in Australia, we got our quarterly figure yesterday, which is a big important figure. And it showed inflation, as you said, had come down to 6%. It was expected to be 6.2, 6.3. So that is a really good sign and shows they're heading in the right direction.
