"Don't discount my witness just because you don't understand or you're going to make these accusations that are false," he says. Stephen sees in Moses's life echoes of Joseph and in Joseph's life Echoes of Moses. "He is drawing powerful parallels to the Israelite rejection of Moses, to the brothers rejection of Joseph, to the Pharisees and Sadducees and the lawyers rejection of Christ."
