How to Be a Successful Macro Trader

A macro trader looks for inefficiencies, opportunities within a kind of a global framework. There's like guys that are doing carry trades and they're looking for great opportunities to just kind of earn the carry on some currencies. And then there's other guys that are looking for asymmetric payoff profiles or look for the next big short. So it ends up being a very, very, very diverse set of problem set.
