Is There a Big Five Theory of Personality?
Wt: What's the check on determining how accurate these methods are and these studys are? Ye, so that's a good question. It depends on what you mean by how accurate or how good. So if what you want to know is how many dimensions of personality are there, then it's pretty difficult thing. The more factors and the more questions you toss in there, the more predictive it'll be. But it's not different enough that you would say, there's something deeply wrong with with this big five theory.
