A growing percentage of the population in at least like in north america and western europe that is like surplus population. Many don't have jobs, but they're jobs in industries that are only kept afloat or barely profitable enough. They just cind of win away in terms of no capitalist productive capacity, but very much missed by the people who work in them. This includes a lot of white collar workers,. It also includes a lots of people who are unemployed and, you know, like dealing drugs, and stuff like it's a wide category.
