Mimesis

Mimesis is a form of normative imitation. It's in many ways a relativistic sort of way to establish normativity, right? Because it's essentially saying when I look around, and if most people agree with me on normativity, that the beautiful is opulence or I'm sorry, you know, being fat or being skinny, then I would ingest those values slowly as well. In my second lecture, I argue that this desire to be really is original sin, because it's a prideful imitation of Satan in his attempt to sort of obtain the metaphysical qualities of God. But we don't have to go into theology just yet. Just exist. Sorry but Adam and Eve
