Is the Right Process Oriented Right?
I think the number of people who are attached to process is around the same, if not more in Canada and from what I'm aware in the UK around the same in the UK, it's just that process here is worse. Or if anything, the right is process oriented opportunistically, right? Like conservatives don't want to get rid of the filibuster right now because they happen to be in the minority, right, in the Senate minority. And like, I just wonder if maybe the addiction to procedure in our country may be related to our origins as an offshoot of English society.
