There have been a lot of maps produced in the course of litigation, including by us,. illustrative maps showing how the state could provide an additional opportunity consistent with its own traditional redistricting principles. The protection of minority voting rights is a fundamental civil right and human right that we have held firm on for nearly 60 years now.
