Should We Be Optimistic About Our Future?
In our second main session, we heard from bobby duffy, professor of public policy and director of the policy institute at king's college london. He had much to say on understanding differences in generational values. One of the key divides that you see is about optimism, thinking about future, students, work and actually what's going to happen in the future. Can we have that that sense of optimism? Is this massive, massive divide, obviously, between less developed countries who think that the future for young people in there is going to be much better than their parents wand they've got that kind of real sense of that?"
