PG&E's Challenges Over the Last 10 Years
The most notorious set of challenges that PG&E has been struggling with is the fact that its power lines continue to spark catastrophic wildfires. A lot of them have happened over the last five ish years, we're talking about more than 20 major fires that have collectively killed more than 100 people. The company also struggles to keep trees away from its lower voltage power lines and when those trees come into contact with the wires, they have the potential to spark fires.
