The First Big Atomic Bomb Test
In the fifties and sixties, attitudes to nuclear weapons changed dramatically. The first big hydrogen bomb test turned out to be much bigger than they expected. Some of it fell on a japanese fishing boat that wasin a few ned miles away. And also, some fellono the marshal islands and damage the marshal islanders. People started looking at rolling out reactors and saying, Could it explode like an atomic bomb? It's been shamefuls shamefuld ot, not only our governnt, but all government. I think it's the first time that it's spending more money than it did back in the 19 eighties.
