Are We Going to Invest in the Direct Producers?

We have to recognise that those groups form power blocks, which exercise immense power. The merchant capitalists are actually realising much more of the surplus value now than the direct producers. So we've got to be prepared not to sort of sit there with Marx's definition. I think it was a useful exercise to explain why these people are there and why you can't get rid of them.
