The Structural Argument Is That India Has Centralized Planning

Malanabas might have become been a great statistician but why does he become an economic planner the reason and the structural argument I offer is that India has adopted centralizing planning. Centralize planning requires these masses of data and it's in that context that somebody so intimately involved with national statistics comes to be seen as maybe a suitable person to pick as a planner. It's not natural for a professor of physics whose turned a statistician to become the most influential policy maker in the country in economics.
