The students I deal with are mostly professionals. A lot of them in their home countries are in the super advanced honors English class getting perfect marks or grades. And all of a sudden, they take the placement test and they're shocked that they place into lower intermediate English. That really is that's a great example of culture shock, isn't it? Immediately.
