Some countries that have realised the problem was there in the first place are doing it more successfully. France started very early with a very good dementia plan, but then they subsided dementia into a major neurological conditions plan. South Korea goes proactively a long way to offer services and Japan is doing a lot too. In high income countries like the UK, there is still a very little in terms of post diagnostic support. There are no social care packages.
