When i was researching this book a, i had the great opportunity to visit various obs observatories and experiments around the world. One of the most memorable ones was visiting apachy point observatory. Three thousand meters up amea mountain n new mexico. What you can see here is the sloane telescope opening up for a night of scar gazing against this incredible sunset backdrop. It has connected to it intor a speca spectrometer, which analyzes the stars from across the milky way galaxy in order to unravel the cosmic history of the chemical elements.
