The Gospel, a First Century Jewish Framework for Understanding the Gospel

i was trying to do one thing well. And so, you know, i didn't branch out from that tremendously. So when i met john, we we had a lot in common. We started talking. He's articulating a first century jewish apocalyptic framework for understanding the gospel. I mean, it's just a fundamentally unbiblical, unrealistic framework. It doesn't really have a great framework for martyrdom. The whole church has a horrible theology of suffering. There are more christians being persecuted and martyred, martyred throughout the earth right now hat any time in human history. This is not what the bible teaches at all.
