YouTube AdSense is something that will very likely not pay off for you for a long time when you're first getting started. My approach to sponsorships and things has mostly been like okay so how do I put this? I turned down a lot of sponsorships because there's a lot of products and brands that I personally don't use. Some YouTubers will promote whatever they're paid to promote because it's a job.
