The Reaction to the End of the Franco Regime

I've never led Spain, I've always been very much impregnated by the culture that surrounds me. So even though my films per se are not based in reality, they do absorb that reality. And for example, if I think back to Pepi Luci-Bohm and the person I was when I made that film, I was a much more fun person to be around. You could say the same thing of Spain right now.Spain is a little less jovial and less fun to be around at the moment.
