Introduction
Operation Gladio was a secret terror network of stay-behind armies across NATO countries made up of fascists, Nazi collaborators, and actual Nazis. The overall purpose was to maintain capitalist control of Europe, to prevent the election of Communist parties, and maintain imperialism in the global south. This pattern wasn't isolated to Western Europe. There was Operation Paperclip, a secret US intelligence program that brought Nazi scientists to the US,. an Operation Condor in Latin America. And similar false flag operations were revealed to have taken place in Lebanon.
