The Brahminical System and the Ark of the Covenant
The boat is the emblem of the female generative power. Everything we see that passes away disappears, corrupts, vanishes must eventually come back. The Brahminical system being one of the older versions, their explanation is that they figured while we see everything die in winter and come back and regenerate in spring. And so they conceptualize that with a boat on the primeval waters of chaos where the savior being is writing on this boat as the seed of all potential to be sprouted again.
