The Legal Ramifications of Microsoft Closing the Deal Without the CMA
Microsoft's looking for ways to close the deal. What would be the legal ramifications of them closing the deal without the CMA? So I think they're exploring. They really want to close this deal before the merger period ends. If the deal isn't done by July 15th, I want to say off the top of my head it's somewhere in the middle of July. Microsoft will have to pay a fine. There'll be some kind of legal battle over the fine and it'll just be a big mess. But I think the deal will ultimately close.
