The Secret of Mary
St. Louis is best known for his treatise on true devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary. He's known for promoting this devotion of total consecration to Jesus through Mary, right? And even he would use language of slavery, of making ourselves slaves to Mary. That when he uses this language, which we may not always want to use today,. but that for him, this is actually the key to true freedom and holiness.
