The Ironton Sunk in a Storm
The 17th century Dutch worship Klein-Hollandia was involved in numerous battles during the Second Anglo-Dutch War. It sank after being attacked and boarded by an English naval force in 1672. Divers have found a lot of material at the wreck site including parts of the hull, some of the ship's cannons and pieces of Italian pottery. And finally, in 2019, a schooner barge called the Ironton was spotted on the floor of Lake Huron using sonar imagery.
