Jared: I think that one of the specific reasons mark was written was to provide an alternative narrative about what kingship at God's right hand looks like. Peter: The disciples are like Jesus's army yeah and by extension the church and it just struck me you know these hymns we sometimes sing in church like onward Christian soldiers. Jared: We actually don't give this enough credit when we're talking about what did Jesus do and I generally hate apologetics but  this is a real deal where he prophesies the destruction of the temple and the destruction of Jerusalem.
