Lenin's Revolution
Luxembourg and Lenin both felt it was an absurd revolution because the new regime that replaced the Tsarist regime in February 1917, was continuing the war. Both of them by this point had come to understand that the only true test of a genuine revolution during the First World War was a commitment to end it. So if this was a revolutionary moment, this was the moment for true revolutionaries to try and seize power and end the war. That's what Lenin did at the start of 1918.
