i wanted to talk about a sister, rosetta thorpe, who was like a really important person in rock and roll. And of coursenn many ways, as has paved the way what i'm doing to day with my music. So we're going to kind of get into that history. I wanto talk about first this essay that would become extremely prophetic. It was published in 19 73 in harper's magazine by margo jefferson sho later would go on to winlick to polezers chos queen. But this essay was called ripping off black music.
