It is possible to imagine some habitats having guest policies that require them to use remote drones or virtual reality during visits. A human habitat would have its own digital ecosystem, internet and local virtual worlds though many might be within a light second of thousands of their habitats to share without much signal lag. It's honestly not likely to have a single big station spinning around by itself either, indeed it is likely to be enclosed in some non-rotating protective superstructure anyway.
