Are You Experiencing a Crisis?

People who tend to experience crises more frequently, of course, there is a reason for that. Obviously has a lot to do with the biosocial model of the kind of biological predisposition plus invalidating environment. Sometimes events happen in life that are really, really hard to deal with. Similar to what we talked about so much in the emotion regulation skills, it's okay to experience really, really high levels of distress. It just matters how you respond.
