In 2007, Queensland's law was amended so that a person previously acquitted of murder could be retried if there was fresh and compelling evidence against them. Fay told 60 minutes, If I could change this law for one other family, I've done some good. Who else has suffered like I have because of a law? She believes with all my heart that the people of Queensland will support me. And they did.
