Hemingway's Exegesis
Hemingway is an author that requires a certain amount of exegesis. The other thing that Hemingway is known for is writing these long, what are called, paratactic sentences. And I think that the goal here is not to be boring and sonorous. The goal here is to describe the way the mind drifts from one thing to another.
