The Importance of Mysticism
Bantu was a very prominent Buddhist and bantuan young, of course. It was a bit of an odd sort of thing to be really. He knew everybody in the Buddhist world. So my impression of Bantu was that he was a magician who had some secrets that I wanted to get. And secret powers, one of the things that I always wantedsecret powers, I remember. That was very important. God knows what I would have done with him. Because he looked so strange, very different from your average city worker. He was a man who might possibly give me, if I played my cards right, possibly give me these secret powers.
