The Supreme Court's Disqualification and Recusal Process
The Supreme Court doesn't even exist until Congress creates it. The court has adopted a process in which each justice decides alone and unreviewably on their own disqualification. This makes them, again, the only judges in the U.S. who have unlimited discretion to decide whether they're disqualified in a particular case.
