The incidence of DTH in preterm infants born in the breach position was 0.47%. So less than half a percent versus vertex 0.36%. And those two things were not statistically significant. The practice of obtaining hip ultrasounds can no longer be recommended for pre term infants born at fewer than 35 weeks, born in the breached presentation with a normal hip exam.
