Aaron Judge Hit His 61st Home Run of the Season

Last night Aaron judge finally hit his 61st home run of the season and in so doing he tied Roger Maris who formerly held the american league record for the most home runs hit in the season. Yet there is an asterisk next to that record because the man who holds it berry bonds was accused of using steroids. Many of the people who set national league records that are higher than 61 are also accused of using steroid they all came within what we refer to as the steroid era. So I thought I would ask Dan McLaughlin who is a baseball nut baseball crank to explain what has happened and then ask a few questions about how we should see these records and contextualize Aaron judges
