Jay Parini: The same things that we've been doing over and over and over again for the last 50 years haven't been working in some way, but- they're not. They're going to be working less and less than not at all. I can't imagine how they can be working any less. And what they write is that, quote, it is important for policymakers not to over adjust towards vocational and STEM education at the expense of liberal arts. As highlighted in the report, observers expect demand for soft skills such as team building, cooperation, and critical thinking to increase as AI and machine learning evolve.
