I suppose I want to say there's a further question yes changes of chemicals in my brain changes my conscious experience but that leaves open the question why those particular chemicals go along with that kind of experience rather than a different experience or no experience at all. quantum mechanics is a bit of maths and you know the equations work really well predicts the outcomes but then there's another question what's going on in reality to make make that equation predict correctly in some fizz this want to say shut up just it works the shut up and calculate approach similarly in in consciousness.
