The Universal Declaration: A Guideline for the Future

All human rights are universal. This is built into the whole human rights system, he says. Universality simply means that human beings are endowed with equal human rights regardless of where they live or who they are. The Universal Declaration and other human rights document so important, I think. There's power in naming and injustice. And there's power in pointing to a precedent. Who would have thought so when the Universal Declaration was first released? Wow.
