Rice was always a staple in our house because my mum, bless her, she was also an NHS doctor. She fed fresh food to three children and a husband every single day that we were growing up. To this day, when I'm in extreme stress, for example, what I crave immediately after giving birth is my mum's lamb and potato curry. So every time I have a baby, I make her make it. And every time I've only had two children, but the times you are so tired and stressed, it's like instant, instant uplifting. There's nothing else that has the power to do that.
