The chief concern with cleanness and uncleanness is not medical, right? It's not primarily medical. That's why we have priests who are discerning clean and unclean. But if something unclean comes into contact with something that's holy, then the unclean thing must die. The whole system of sacrifice is built on life and death and how all of those things are interplaying with one another.
