How to Get Out of Anxiety

When you're stuck, one of the things that really helps is even just to notice the kind of anxious thoughts that are circling and just name them. It's very powerful if you can name thoughts and unhook and then scan through your body. Another strategy is putting your hand on your heart and hand on your belly. There's a nexus of nerves here and here that when they feel the warmth and the pressure actually calms you down. And I find it really allows me to drift off nicely.
