The Empirical Evidence for Hysteresis
Larry Summers' secular stagnation theory would that count as a form of hysteresis or not? I think it has different versions, and there are different ways to plug it into academic models. But again, if you start going back and forth between different states of the economy, yeah, I could feed it into the hysteresi story. So I mean, it can be linked, but I wouldn't say it's 100% a link to the same type of empirical predictions.
