How to Write a Memoir
I think poetry is rooted in mystery in a way that other types of writing aren't or it has a higher degree of it. A poem moves associatively. It traces the movement of our thoughts. So the experience of the poem is often the purpose of the poem as much or more than any message. I'm curious if you see this as the purpose or the joy of poetry broke and if it's also perhaps part of the frustration.
