Trump and DeSantis Aren't Getting Along, You Know?

The two men are in a position to bloody each other pretty badly, should circumstances and their own ambitions inspire to make that happen. DeSantis's supporters at his rally were chanting two more years, which is kind of funny, and also tells you, like, what their mood is, right? So he's got his own now, you know, very significant, increasingly national supporter base. He's got a record that is increasingly independent from, like, MAGA as a movement. And Trump is certainly not somebody that seems hugely likely to me to be like, well, for the interest of the party, I'm not quite winning this fight in the country.
